Golf Tip of the Week

Reading Sand

A lot of bunkers shots are misplayed because the player fails to read the lie correctly. Your goal is to send sand onto the green with the ball, so feel how much effort it will take to send the sand out of the bunker. When there is little sand or a tight lie, you don’t need much effort. When there is more sand and its fluffy and heavy you need more effort. Hard sand equals soft swing. Soft Sand equals hard swing.
